In today’s post, we are going to discuss different Herbal Remedies to Relieve Anxiety.
Herbal remedies have been used for centuries by many different cultures to treat anxiety and other emotional difficulties.
Each person is different, so every single herbal remedy may not work for everyone. If they work, beyond possible placebo effects, they probably reduce anxiety by altering your brain chemistry.
Many people believe that products labeled “natural” are always safe and good for them. This is not necessarily true. Herbal medicines do not have to go through the testing that drugs do. Some herbs, such as comfrey and ephedra, can cause serious harm. Some herbs can interact with prescription or over-the-counter medicines.
Although I am not personally opposed to the use of herbal remedies to reduce my anxiety, I am also aware that sometimes this method won’t be enough and I might need some other kind of help: actual drugs, psychiatrists, psychologists, etc.
